Costa Rica Holidays Overview

Costa Rica is a small country brimming with wildlife and natural beauty. Our tailor-made Costa Rica holidays take you to lush jungle, sandy beaches, smouldering volcanoes and misty cloud forest. It is the perfect destination for adventure-seekers, families and lovers of the outdoors. With a modern democracy and a fierce determination to protect the environment, Costa Rica has long been a top attraction in Central America. Ask us for ways to hike, ride, surf, zip through the trees or spot wildlife or just relax on a beach on this small but exciting country.

Costa Rica Holidays Highlights

There is wildlife everywhere but we particularly like Tortuguero and Corcovado. Nesting turtles can be seen at certain times of the year. Raft your way to your hotel with Pacuare lodge, kick back on the beaches of the Caribbean or Pacific.

Tailor Your Trip

  • Corcovado National Park on the Oso Peninsular gets far fewer visitors and is full of wildlife such as jaguar, puma, sloth and squirrel monkey.
  • Get off the beaten track and hop over the border to Nicaragua for a big dose of culture and history
  • Although Costa Rica looks small on the map it can take a long time to get from A to B because of the windy roads. Don’t be too ambitious, stick to a few places and do them well

Recent Review

This really was the holiday of a lifetime and thanks to expedition leader Hannah and her fantastic team was  it was a magical experience. The scenery and wildlife were breathtaking and  the history of polar exportation, and my hero Sir Ernest Shackleton in particular was vividly, brought to life. To be able to follow his journey and pay my respects to him at his graveside in South Georgia was very emotional and something I will never forget.
