Itinerary - Buenos Aires Iguazu Falls and Machu Picchu

Day 1. Arrive Lima

An English speaking guide will greet you and take you to your hotel.

Day 2. Cusco City and Outlying Inca Sites

Travel to the historic city of Cusco high in the Andes. We pick you up from the airport and take you on a city tour of the colonial and Inca highlights in and around this fascinating city.

Day 3. Sacred Valley of the Incas, Travel to Machu Picchu

We take you on a full day tour of the beautiful Sacred Valley. Explore a traditional market, wander the Inca alleyways of Ollantaytambo and enjoy lunch alongside the Urubamba River. Later this afternoon take the train to Aguas Calientes, at the foot of Machu Picchu,

Day 4. Visit Machu Picchu and Return to Cusco

This morning your private guide will show you the intricate stonework and explain the significance of the Inca sanctuary. Afterwards you have free time to explore at your own pace and take in the magical splendour of Machu Picchu before returning to Cusco.

Day 5. Fly from Cusco to Iguazu

Fly from Cusco Iguazu via Lima. Iguazu falls is one of nature’s world wonders and is located on the border of Brazil and Argentina.

Day 6. Iguazu Falls: Argentina side

On your private tour of the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls, explore the different walkways and viewpoints where you can see different aspects of these huge falls. You can choose to include a boat ride which takes you right up to the thunderous Devil’s Throat. Be prepared to get soaked! More on Iguazu Falls.

Day 7. Iguazu Falls: Brazil

Your private tour of the Brazilian side of the falls allows you to see Iguazu in a stunning panorama. Breathtaking! This afternoon you fly to Buenos Aires where you will be picked up and taken to your city centre hotel.

Day 8. Buenos Aires Tour and Free Afternoon

This morning you have a tour of this buzzing city with its characterful historical quarters such as San Telmo and La Boca, and the glamorous district of Palermo. This afternoon is free for you to explore further at your own pace.

Day 9. Free day in Buenos Aires

Today you have a free day to relax and explore the many museums and cafes in Buenos Aires. Let us know if you are interested in a tango dinner show.

Day 10. Fly Home

Today you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the airport for your international flight home.
