A professor of the University uses four parks and plazas of Argentina’s history, contrasts, and characteristic psychology of the “porteños”, the inhabitants of Buenos Aires. Ask about our specialist tours of BA such as Street Art, Food and wine or architecture.
We take you to the airport this morning to fly to Mendoza. You’ll be driven to your wine lodge in the heart of Argentina’s most famous wine region.
Protected by the high peaks of Tupungato mountain and the Del Plata range this valley is irrigated by the Tunuyan river. Malbec, Merlot and Pinot Noir thrive here. The Vines resort and spa is exquisite and the ultimate place to wind down and enjoy some of the country’s best wine and gastronomy.
After a free morning we will take you back to Mendoza airport to fly to Buenos Aires.
Airport transfer for flight to Posadas. It’s a bumpy but exciting journey by private vehicle to Rincon del Socorro. You can stop along the way to admire the views and spot wildlife.
The Ibera wetlands are one of the largest fresh water reservoirs of the continent and covers 1.3 million hectares. There are more than 350 species of birds, 2 types of caiman, monkeys, deer and the maned wolf to name but some of the wildlife.
Choose from the many activities on offer or just relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Today your driver will take you to Puerto Valle. A natural gateway to the wetlands, the estate on which the Estancia is located leads to Laguna Valle for more outstanding wildlife spotting. Today you’ll explore on foot, by boat or on horseback if you wish. Nothing beats the sight of the sun setting over the wetlands for making you feel connected to this very special environment.
Today you head north towards Iguazu falls but rather than stay with the crowds you’ll stay half an hour away at Puerto Bemberg which sits in rainforest overlooking the Parana river.
This morning you’ll head to see one of the World’s Natural World Wonders; Iguazu Falls. The Argentina side gets you right up close to some of the falls via specially designed wooden walkways through the jungle. You’ll finish the day by crossing to your hotel on the Brazilian side.
We include a tour of the Brazilian side of the falls before you head to the airport for your flight to Rio. In Rio you will be met and driven to your hotel.
A day to explore Rio at your own pace. Take in Christ the Redeemer which casts a serene gaze over the city, and take a cable car up Sugar Loaf mountain for yet more stunning views.
