Expert Lowdown - La Paz to Lima Adventure

The Bolivia side of Lake Titicaca is less touristy than the Peru side. Spend a night on Isla del Sol at a cozy Eco Lodge and then walk the pilgrim’s route across the top of the island. Or simply take the time to enjoy the peace of the island and it’s unique setting. It’s still worth breaking up the journey with a visit to Peru’s floating Uros islands, but be prepared for it to be busier than what you will have seen in Bolivia.
