This morning you will fly to Cusco in the heart of the Andes mountains. This afternoon you are free to rest and acclimatise. Cusco is at 3400m above sea level and it is best not to rush around too much on your first day. If you do feel like exploring there are museums, restaurants and cafes close to your hotel.
This morning you join a local guide to visit the ceremonial site of Tambomachay with its intricate water fountains, Qenko with its fascinating carved rocks and Sacsuayhuaman, perhaps most impressive Inca site of the area. Back in the city you continue to the Cathedral and famous sun temple of Koricancha. This afternoon is free for you to explore more of Cusco at your own pace.
Explore the picturesque market town of Pisac with its impressive Inca ruins and famous market with a local guide. Wander the Inca alleyways of Ollantaytambo before taking the train to Aguas Calientes town, at the base of Machu Picchu
You can choose to make an early start to experience Machu Picchu before the day-tripper crowds arrive from Cusco. The jewel in the crown of Inca architecture, Machu Picchu is a spectacular testimony to the Inca culture. You will have plenty of free time to explore before returning to Cusco. This morning we take you the airport for your flight to Iguazu falls via Lima. When you arrive in Iguazu you will be met and driven to your hotel.

Free morning to soak up the atmosphere of Ipanema or Copacabana beaches. In the afternoon your guide and driver will take you to Sugar Loaf Mountain. A 2 stage cable car takes you to the top, for more stunning yet different views of Rio and its coastline at sunset.

International flights are not included and the price and schedule will vary depending on your place of origin and dates. For this trip you can arrive and depart from Lima, Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paolo.
There is a direct flight between Lima and Iguazu falls which does not run daily. We will take this into account when we plan your trip.
