Day 1. Rio de Janeiro
Arrive into the city of Rio de Janeiro, transfer to your hotel.
Day 2. Rio de Janeiro
Private tour of the traditional Cosme Velho district and then a train up through the Tijuca forest to see the famous White Christ statue; the emblem of Rio de Janeiro. Today's tour also includes some of Rio's most famous beaches.
Day 3. Rio de Janeiro
Today's private tour takes in the most famous landmarks of Rio de Janeiro. You will have stunning views from Sugar loaf mountain. For a taste of the real life in Rio we also take an off the beaten track tour to the favela of Carioca.
Day 4. Fly to Salvador
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Salvador. The fascinating city of Salvador in the north east of Brazil has a heady mix of latin and African cultures. This creates a vibrant and lively mixture of music and dance that typify Brazil. Add to this the buzzing art and music scene and you have a classic Latin American experience. Day 5. Salvador
Today your guide will show you some of the city's best beaches and sights, and make sure you know where to eat some of the best local food.
Day 6. Prahia do Forte
Today you will be taken by private transport to Prahia do Forte; one of the any stunning beach areas around Salvador. This is still a fishing village of sorts but with plenty of modern amenities. There is a sea turtle sanctuary, some lagoons for canoeing and a small reserve for short hikes. All surrounded by picture perfect white sandy beaches.
Day 7. Prahia do Forte Beaches
Take it easy today ad enjoy the Brazilian beach life, right outside your hotel.
Day 8. Fly to Rio de Janeiro then home
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio where you connect witn your international flight.
