Day 1. Arrive in Lima
On arrival into the Peruvian capital, we pick you up and take you to hotel in the safe, Miraflores part of the city - Airport hotel if your flight arrives late at night.
Day 2. Travel to Huaraz
We take you to your VIP bus to Huaraz, located in the Peruvian Andes and the gateway to the Huayhuash mountain range. There we will take you to your comfortable city center hotel.

Day 3. Chavin de Huantar
Visit the oldest pre-Inca site of the Chavn culture with fascinating carvings - showing animal deities including evidence of cat worship. Overnight in Chavin hotel.
Day 4. Inca Ruins and High Plains
Drive to Huanuco Pampa. Situated on a grand plateau, this was an important Inca city on the trade route between Quito and Bolivia. Experience your first night of high altitude camping here at 4,000m.
Day 5. Lake Carhuacocha
Trek into the mountain range and the stunning Lake Carhuacocha. This is a brilliant blue lake surrounded by snow capped mountain and you are now in one of the most remote places in Peru. Camp on the shore of the lake.
Day 6. Carhuacocha Pass
A challenging hike over the Carhuacocha Pass at 4, 6240m with superb views all around. The days trek finishes at Lake Mitucocha with Mt. . Yerupajá, Rondoy and Ninashanca behind.
Day 7. Cacanampunta Pass
Another challenging but rewarding pass at 4, 700m and the day continues with spectacular scenery of snowy mountians and gorgeous blue lakes
Day 8. Lake Jahuacocha
Today you will follow the Rondoy Valley to Sambuya Pass. From there it is a descent to Lake Jahuacocha. Camp on the edge of the lake by a beautiful cirque.
Day 9. Huaraz
You will be picked up at the end of the trek and taken to Huraz and your transport back to Lima.
Day 10. Lima
Return to Lima for your flight home, or on to another destination in Peru.
